RAUKANTEX edgebands is one of REHAU’s core business programs in the REHAU Interior Solutions product ranges. Our goal is to continuously use recycled materials and green polymers, as well as reducing our CO2 emission with 100% of our European edgeband factories powered by renewable energies. Therefore, with RAUKATEN eco, we have developed an edgeband made of 50% post-industrial recycled materials. As we like to push the limits of innovation, we have also created with RAUKANTEX evo, an edgeband based on 100% renewable materials that does not require additional crude oil. Glue, laser or hot air technology: no modification of machine setting is required, high quality design, durability, you will be satisfied and our planet thanks us.

On our machining centers, we try to optimize the use of energy to minimize waste.
-    Aspiration : we try to make it work only at the same time with the motor, as it is the only time when it is necessary. Then we use only energy efficient chip evacuators. Our cyclic provides that the piece of wood to be worked runs back and forth, we were able to eliminate 2,3 shafts reducing the engine force by 50/60%.
-    Energy : we save about 10% of energy by recovering the braking energy of axis and spindles back in the power supply network.
-    Heat : we were able to reduce about the 20% of heat loss and reactive power in the control and engine components industry.
Thanks to all these measures our machines need little energy to operate, aspect not to be underestimated.

Small wood is generally used as fuel.
Our machines/lines permit to manufacture high-quality useful products from this valuable natural product. With good logistics, the raw material can be completely utilized, i-e. the chips produced are used for energy generation and the solid wood products manufactured can be used in landscape and garden architecture, for example in the design of gardens, green areas, playgrounds and roads, in the construction of log houses, etc.
Comparede with sawmills for big timber, our profiling lines (sawing lines) can produce high-quality sawn products (boards and square logs in various specified cut sizes) from small timber, with reduced energy consumption and high timber output.

The result of many years of experience in the field of pelleting machine production, we have managed to apply to our machines a production system that combines high efficiency, with greater productivity and long durability of spare parts, this cycle allows you to produce more in less time and with minimal energy consumption, thus making the production cycle more efficient.
