This trade involves erecting timber structures (frames and framework) from prefabricated and more often than not pre-assembled parts while observing safety rules.
The erector can also maintain and refurbish existing constructions and make parts, assemblies, and complete works in timber and composite materials. It's a trade in which precision and technical knowledge are vital. The erector must like working in a team, working outdoors, and must not be afraid of heights.
